ASIAN AF (Asian As F***) is the premier Asian American variety show at the UCB Theatre. After the incredible success of SCARLETT JOHANSSON PRESENTS, the first Asian American improv show at the UCB Theatre (and also the most attended show at UCB), Asian AF was created as a way to showcase even more comedic Asian American talent. Asian AF spotlights the best Asian American actors, stand-up comedians, improvisers, sketch performers, musicians, dancers, & storytellers. The show has been featured on several news sites such as NBC News, ABC News, LA Times, NY TimesGoogleATTN, Splitsider, Gizmodo, Indiewire, and many more. In October 2017, Asian AF had its first spin-off show FILIPINO AF to celebrate Filipino American History Month - the first all Filipino American comedy show at the UCB Theatre. Filipino AF had a second holiday themed show in December 2017 and a third Lent themed show in March 2018 - RSVP to the Facebook Event!

Asian AF LA is produced by Will Choi and co-hosted with Keiko Agena.

NEW YORK

Due to its immense popularity in Los Angeles, ASIAN AF was brought out to New York in June 2017. SCARLETT JOHANSSON PRESENTS also debuted at UCBTNY for the 19th Annual Del Close Marathon in the same month. Asian AF has the unique honor of being the first ever UCBTLA show to become a monthly show in New York at the UCB Theatre. Dan Lee served as the original lead producer & host of Asian AF New York. The show has become a huge success with sold out shows every month, including a special performance at the famous Signature Theatre off Broadway. Asian AF New York has featured amazing guests such as Ken Jeong, Aparna Nancherla, Ronny Chieng, Joel Kim Booster, Michele Selene Ang, Bowen Yang, Alingon Mitra, Keiko Agena, Nimesh Patel, Jenny Yang, Dami Lee, Kevin Yee, Jin Ha, and Hudson Yang!

San Francisco

ASIAN AF came to San Francisco as part of SF SKETCHFEST 2018! The show featured some of our favorite performers from LA & NY, such as Eugene Cordero, Kevin Camia, Kevin Yee, JR De Guzman, Zac Oyama, AzN PoP!, Will Choi, Dan Lee, Alex Song, Irene Tu, Jiavani Linayao, Voltron, and many more. The first two shows sold out in 5 hours and was the first to sell out in the festival. A third show was added due to its popularity. 

Asian AF returned to SF SKETCHFEST 2019 with two full-length sold out shows. Filipino AF also made its SF Sketchfest debut with a sold out show. Performers included Will Choi, Eugene Cordero, Keiko Agena, Joel Kim Booster, Zac Oyama, Sarah Claspell, Dhruv Uday Singh, JR de Guzman, Gilbert Galon, Alfred Aquino II, Pallavi Gunalan, Jenny Yang, Andrew Orolfo, Nathan Ramos, Erich Tamola, Joy Regullano, Allyn Pintal, Sini-Gang Improv, Brent Weinbach, Max & Nicky Weinbach, and many more!
